Hm, while most cameras had diodes at the power input meaning that DC
would work fine, I found one (Burle model - have very few of these
that tested good) that seems to have a transformer and won't work on
DC. If you wonder what a camera supports let me know, but as long as
you're using a switching dc power supply it shouldn't damage the power
supply or camera if you connect a DC power source to an AC-only model.
