Something to consider is actually finding the source of the high bill. I suspect cooling units, but I can't be sure unless we actually test. I don't *think* servers use a significant amount of electricity, but it would be worthwhile to find out for sure.
Does anybody have a tool to measure current consumption? If we *do* turn the drink machine off during certain periods, I'd like to know how much difference it makes. Going with Justin's suggestion, I think we should consider turning it off even more - like, only having it *on* Friday - Sunday or something.
