Folks,

It's going to be giant this year on 20 Feb 14, we are expecting 18 or more
teams at Red River College Princess Street Campus.

As a leadership group - Colin C, Nathan, Alex, Jared, Chris K and myself met
last month and identifed key objectives for the #CDC2014 event.

Last year, was a spectacular success - but there were areas which if not
addressed could cause us problems executing a world class event.

Through the month of October we will be meeting to define the role of the Red
Team volunteer and provide a training plan and a manual for success.

Make no mistake, this 2014 event will worthy of inclusion in resumes and we
will be in the public eye, as we expect over a hundred visitors including high
profile vendors, IT interest groups and members of the public.

The outstanding support we have received from industry, government and IT
interest groups including SkullSpace members ,is truly appreciated. We are very
much on the radar of national and other provincial groups.

In November, we will be looking to fill the volunteer ranks with various rolls
- ranging from support to scoring to marshalling and escorting the VIPs and
others who are interested in what we are doing.

It's going to be world class event because our leadership is world class and
our volunteers are world class.

Canada is going to be on the cyber map - taking a proactive, uniquely Canadian
approach to the issues of cyber security.

I look forward to seeing you participate at #CDC2014.

Sincerely,

Ian Trump
Lead Architect CDC Event
