I'm trying hard to get rid of spam. Seriously Internet, this is why we
can't have nice stuff..

There's still a CAPTCHA on the reg page, which I changed - it now asks
for our address, and gives a hint about the format it's expected in (to
avoid confusion).

Non-registered users can't post, so going through the CAPTCHA and
creating an account is required.

Ordinary users are allowed to edit. This is the scariest part. I enabled
the "Akismet" plugin, designed for Wordpress, which uses a third-party
service to verify whether or not comments are spam. It's brand new to
me, but it seems to work well on my blog (got 100% of my 103 spam
comments). We'll see how well it works on our Wiki.

Ordinary users still do not have permission to upload files, but it
takes me about 5 seconds to give you access to upload files (just hit me
up with your wiki username). Those with access to upload files
will be ignored by the spam filter as well, so if you're having trouble
with the spam filter, let me know and I'll bump up your privs.

Let me know if you have questions/concerns/issues!

Ron
