I tested the MGE Pulsar EX 3200RTlast night. It immediately turns off the
outputs when on battery, doesn't give a clear error message.

The UPS takes 18x 12v9ah batteries (6 in main unit, 12 expansion pack).
The main unit ones seem to be from 2009 and at the end of their life, the
expansion pack ones are from 2005 and expired/bulging a bit. If we wanted
to get the full setup working it'd be ~500$ for new batteries, and I don't
see either server owners or Skullspace paying that much just to increase
UPS runtime (~7min to ~20min).

We can also just replace the batteries in the main unit ($200). We can't
add much more load to our other UPSes (just 1-2 servers - and I'll be
adding a server for card access / secondary camera), so if anyone wants to
add a server after that they'll need to pay to get new batteries for the
main unit.
