Thanks. They retail for around $10 each when bought 5 at a time right
now. One mining calculator says they'll make around $18 net (after
power) each in the next year... I won't be that optimistic, but it will
be neat to see if we can at least earn the retail value before we shut
these off for using too much power.
They draw 510mA each @ 5volt (2.5watt). I'm going to have to be careful
that I don't overdraw what the VM server's many USB ports out back can
do. If someone wants to do the research for me, the motherboard is Asus
M5A88-V EVO. (remember, already got two block erupter USBs running)
Anyone got a powered hub lying around to give...
Might spread them around to avoid making too much a mess -- can run one
24/7 at home on my router and still donate to Skullspace. Any one else
perhaps want to mange one on their own system that's already up anyway
and keep it going 24/7?
