Just curious if anyone has any suggestions for an oscilloscope for general hobby/school use. I'm thinking of cashing in my fractions of a bitcoin and getting a sub $500 scope.....Currently leaning towards OWON sds7102 or siglent SDS1102CML.....but the OWON apparently doesn't get firmware updates that often, and the siglent might have some hardware issues......
I know most forums that I have read suggest the Rigol 1052e as the gold standard, but it's a few years old and I'd like something with a larger screen. Any suggestions? Cheers, David Stewart
