It comes down to: what's the purpose of the sksp calendar? I used to see it as a way to collect events from elsewhere in the community - meetups, secret handshake, conventions, conferences, etc, and put them all into a single place. But I stopped doing that, so we ended up with a smattering of events, plus mostly sksp stuff.
These days, I see it as more of a way to 'book' sksp, or to put events that matter to sksp members, not to the community at large, because nobody outside of sksp (and likely few people within sksp) use it anyways.
