I'd be tempted to join you on this adventure. I have vast knowledge in Django, so if that route is taken I could be of exponential value. I have been using Django since version 1.2, and have seen it grow, mature, and flourish into the pristine flower it is today.
Of course I'd be interested in any Python project, and there is a large number of things one can do with Python. This weekend I will be learning the bluez package in Python, so that I can speak to other Bluetooth devices over the RF spectrum. What kind of project were you thinking of making in Python for this?
