Traditionally, it's a "whatever happens happens" sorta deal. The best
way to play a movie night is just to post to discuss@ and to Cc: mak,
who isn't on discuss@ and occasionally creates planning conflicts. :)

In fact, it's actually recommended to Cc: mak on all discuss@ traffic ;)
