The RPM is designed based on RedHat, so if your init.d requirements dont match up exactly with redHat, then the startup script will give you problems. look in /etc/sysconfig/slimserver for options and /etc/init.d/slimserver for the script. you might have some luck copying one of your systems existing init scripts and substituting slimserver stuff where applicable. This is not a known bug. I'm told that the Live365 plugin included with the server has some out of date features and the author is working on an update. That said, I've been logging in over the last few days with little trouble.
