Hi with B1 and B2 I've seen this same error message that the service was starting and then immediately shutdown (when trying to start the service manually because it did not work on automatic). I was adviced by Dan to delete the file C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Cache\slimserversql.db and that solved this issue.
