Good question - I actually tried exactly the same but no
success so far. My Linkstation is working fine with slimserver itself but I am
missing
the playlist features I had with Itunes. It's actually not
enough to simply place the Itunes database on the linkstation - that's how much
I found out so far...
Anyone else any ideas?

I've never used the
SlimServer iTunes integration, but I'd like to start doing so. I have SlimServer
running on a 250gb LinkStation, and I run iTunes on my Powerbook; do I need to
store my iTunes library information on the server, or do I need to use some
intermediary software solution?
