After approx. 10 hrs with this, I'm just about ready to return my Duet. I'm using SC 7.1.0 on a MAC 10.5.4.
SqueezeNetwork works great. When I go to SqueezeCenter in preferences, I can start the server but web access (which points to http://localhost:9000/) hangs. Using http://127.0.0.1:9000/ works just fine. I can ID my Itunes library, scan songs, set prefs for my XM plugin, no problem. I've tried allowing all incoming connections in sysPrefs > security > firewall. I have no other virus software running. On my controller, for music source, I see squeezeNetwork and Macintosh.local (rather than my computer name). If I choose Macintosh.local on the controller (in order to listen to XM and/or Itunes) the SB receiver freezes on blue and I'm stuck. I've tried clean uninstall/reinstall along with factory resets of both units (box and controller). Note I've never had a previous version of slim software on my machine before. I've been through a good 1/2 day via phone and email with tech support and I'm afraid they may have given up since I haven't heard back since my last email yesterday afternoon. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any advice on what is or may be wrong (and how to fix :-) ) would be greatly appreciated.
