It's probably too late now (post production) but possibly coding any/all display units with something like NFS (Not For Sale) in as many areas as possible right on the mfg label. example: Name: Squeezebox 3 NFS Model: SB3 NFS S/N: NFS56789 It's very common on any resale site like eBay to post (or ask to be posted) the pics of the model & S/N info. You could call this DRM!
