I'm a bit puzzled by the updated Alarm Clock feature in SC 7.2 (under XP, with 2 regular SB3s).
I have my SB3s synched up, but each has a different volume setting. Under various SC versions I have had them both set to to a Monday - Friday alarm at 7.00am, using a saved Alien BBC R3 live feed as a playlist. Ditto for weekends, but with an alarm time of 8.00am. Under the new 7.2 regime, I have 3 separate routes to ALARM option screens: HOME - EXTRAS - ALARM CLOCK HOME - PLAYER SETTINGS SB A - ALARM CLOCK HOME - PLAYER SETTINGS SB B - ALARM CLOCK These screens are identical as set, apart from SB A and SB B showing the different volume settings. The problem I am having in in changing anything. I decided to change both my weekday and weekend alarm times by 15 minutes. I check all 3 screen routes, and made sure I clicked SAVE SETTINGS. Next morning - after a full reboot - the alarms went off at the old time, not the newly selected time. Thinking I'd messed up, I did the changes again - but alarms still went off at the old time, not the new time. And the various ALARM CLOCK option screens all show the old times, not the newly selected ones. I'm guessing that somehow when SC 7.2 restarts it's defaulting to the old times rather than taking the newly set ones.... Further complication - having decided that I'd cancel the alarms temporarily until I could sort out the issue, I went to HOME - EXTRAS - ALARM CLOCK and selected that very first option, ALL ALARMS - OFF. And I checked that that setting had been captured under the ALARM screens on the individual SB players. And I made sure I clicked SAVE SETTINGS! And there would have been an XP reboot some time after that. Well, the alarms went off the next morning anyway, at the old 7.00am time. Checking the option screens, ALL ALARMS - OFF was still showing. But the alarms came on anyway. Hmmmm......
