Thought I'd share my experience with upgrading to 7.2.1 All is working fine now, although it was the first time that I encountered significant problems when upgrading. I think it is related to / the same as this bug - http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=8272 . I uninstalled 7.2 rather than install over the top (for reasons I will go into shortly) and skipped the SqueezeNetwork registration. MY SB3 then refused to respond to the "Press Brightness to upgrade firmware" prompt.
The reason I uninstalled first is that for *every* SS/SC upgrade bar one (I can't remember which one I'm afraid) the installer has frozen when trying to install over the top of a previous installation. It always freezes at the "Creating Directories" stage - I think it's this bug - http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=9698 . To be honest I've probably not waited as long as 1.5 minutes to see if it continues, maybe I will next time...
