Hi all, before entering an enhancement request on the bugtracker, I would like to hear your thoughts on this;
I hear many complaints about the rotary dial when your library is really big. If have trouble too, not getting to the right letter (it takes some time but less than selecting first letter like on SC web interface), but overshooting it. My idea is to add a wiggle function to the rotary dial. If you wiggle instead of rotate, it changes mode to show the alphabet to select the first letter of the album/artist, followed by press middle button to get to that part of the list. This wiggle-detect should be made fool-proof enough to be not activated when just scrolling up and down a bit... like three quick fwd-rev wiggles or something.
