No, that wasn't a comment on being a Scotsman :-) I actually thought you were trying to keep your equipemtn with in a certain size or portable. 7 watts is pretty darn good. My Shuttle has no fan, no optical drives, no keyboard or monitor, but I bet it pulls more than that.
