Doh! That is what I was doing wrong, tapping just the sync icons. I think I was doing it too fast as well. I guess it takes a second for the screen to repond and I was just tapping the squiggly marks on players C, and B and then the mark on player A before the x's showed up and it would sync two players and a second later unsync them again. Ironically, doing it this wrong way works fine for syncing two players (which is the most I typically do) because you don't end up tapping a sqiggly that becomes an x. Thanks for straightening me out on the proper way to do it.
