If you can already access the web UI from work, you've already won half the battle. Otherwise, you need to adjust your home networking gear to forward the necessary Squeezecenter ports to your server.
Make sure you have LAME installed on your server. When at work, I'm assuming you'd be accessing the web UI by using the URL of http://yourhomeipaddress:9000/ To listen in, point whatever media software you have on your work PC to http://yourhomeipaddress:9000/stream.mp3 You may need to adjust some settings by going into the SC settings, going to the Player tab, and selecting your work player from the drop-down list. You may need to adjust some security settings under the Advanced tab.
