The thing is, SlimControl is designed to have a dark background. I would not look good for any(!) background picture. The reason beeing, that the buttons images are anti-aliased towards a black background. On a white background, you'd see black, ragged borders around them. Alas, windows CE is simply not fit for true alpha-blending.
