I really like iPeng and would strongly recommend it. Its very similar to the Apple Remote software in terms of interface style, but much more flexible. Just make sure to use the Squeezecenter build 7.3.2 or 7.3.3 (the nightly beta builds are very volatile now in my view and I don't use them any longer - they caused issues for both iPeng, the web interface itself, and my Pronto remote running ProntoSqueeze).
