Regarding the plug-in mechanism .... Michael Herger wrote one to parse teh web site of DRS http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=54996 and that was used as the basis for another one to parse Radio Zürisee http://sergio.trentini.ch/fileadmin/downloads/zuerisee_plugin.txt
As you will see - it does require coding - but since the underlying mechaism has been done then ... using "View Source" to look at the broadcaster's site and then work out the correct text strings to look for is the next step.
