I am a huge podcast fan but don't know that this would be a useful feature. For listening to podcasts on the Squeezebox, the included podcasts plugin does a great job (except for not being able to reorder them, see 'bug 7438' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7438)). If you want to actually download them as opposed to stream them, you're probably doing that to listen to them on your portable device and will be best served by the media manager that came with your portable, or 'Songbird' (http://www.getsongbird.com/).
