There is no out of the box solution for remote streaming. As I see it there is two ways to do it.
Open port 9000 on your router pointing to your server. On your office compter start WMP, iTunes or whatever and open url to http://your_routers_external_ip_address:9000/stream.mp3. In your browser connect to http://your_routers_external_ip_address:9000 and controll your player. or Install Hamachi (LogMeIn) on your server and your computer at work. Install Squeezeplay and of you go.
