Just a note to say that my Remote battery is mostly dead after less than a year of use. This is not a good result.
However, tech support readily agreed, and since the device is still under warranty are replacing the battery. Kudos to support, but no kudos to whoever speced and/or sourced the battery, assuming (as I can given other posts on the same subject) that my problem is not unique.
