Please tell me that this is not true. After having happily used Slimserver 6.4 (or something like that) until now, I decided to upgrade to 7.3.3, in order to be able to use Pocketpc slimcontrol (and I was anyway considering to buy the Duet Controller).
I installed it without uninstalling 6.4 as I hoped it would retain my settings (whch it didn't). First very disappointing point (and franckly quite unprofessional). Then came the disaster (and please tell me there is a way to fix it). I had expected that there a firmware upgrade would be pushed to my squeezebox classic, but what I hadn't expected was that the display would be changed without giving me a chance to decide whether I wanted or not. I really don't like the display when browsing the library. The extra height for the song title makes the font look weird, without really improving readibility, and the smaller top line is now become difficult to read. Furthermore text does not scroll anynore as it used to do when it doesn't fit the screen (but perhaps that is a setting somewhere). Is it possible to get my 6.4 look on my squeezebox back again? I hope that next time I get my car to the mechanic for servcioe I don't get it back repainted in another colour and with different seats! :-) -- Aguida ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aguida's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9285 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66442 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
