There are two stages of reset. slow flashing red and if hold it still longer then fast flashing red. usually it should be enough with slow flash reach setup.
Otherwise reset both the controller and the receiver and start over. Or use an ethernet cable and the NET::UDAP utility (search this forum) and set it up with your PC. This way you specify the squeezecenter address. finally mail or call support, they are good. Btw. How far do you get ? what colour on the led, white green blue ? It is not uncommon with blue, which is that it's actually connected to the router but cant find squeezeceenter.
