Where are you looking? In the web interface under Settings > Player > [playername] > Display there are options for 'Font' and 'Standby Font' sizes. In the IR remote interface there's an option under Settings > Display > Text size. I assume that this controls only the 'on' font size and doesn't affect the standby font size.
