This new version includes several new features and many bug fixes. It includes support for playlists, favorites and apps. You can now play/rename/delete playlists and favorites, but not yet save/edit playlists or add new favorites. There is a new image view mode for Apps like flickr or the Queen photo gallery. The connection to MySqueeezeBox.com or your local SqueezeBoxServer should be more reliable now.
