I've been using DeltaCopy to backup files from my XP box to my Solaris machine. Everything works as advertised when run manually, but when I setup DeltaCopy to run as a scheduled task it often fails, but not always. Scheduled tasks shows it as running, but if I open the DeltaCopy client it happily lets me run the backup manually. I run the scheduled task as a user with Administrator privileges, so that should be good to go. The FAQ for DeltaCopy says to make sure the .dcp extension is associated with DeltaCopy if there are problems with the scheduler. That's cool.
