Radish, thanks a lot for trying to help out. I am going to try fiddling with bitrate limiting tonight to see whether that has any effect.
Just to clarify one point - .m4a = AAC, so if I turn on bitrate limiting it will use LAME to convert the AAC to MP3, won't it? Funny thing is, I have actually got used to the pops now. Hope I don't miss them when I get rid of them! If you have an SB1 that only actually plays MP3 and PCM, so the file must be being transcoded on the server. If you have bitrate limiting disabled then it will use PCM. I only ask because that determines what apps are under suspicion - in this case not LAME (the MP3 encoder). However this is about where my debugging expertise runs out for this kind of problem...hopefully someone else will chime in :) -- radish _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
