I now the dacmagic and others have a usb and optical input and if the PC sends just a digital signal a 0 or 1s to the DAC to convert into analog I cant see the problem, if its wirelessly done or not. The same as if the squeeze box sent a digital signal via the optical output to a dac. Its either a 0 or a 1. Its the analog conversion that gives the characteristics of the sound coming out the speakers.
