Hi folks, Thanks for all the replies - and agree sounds like the software stuff is a bit of a dud (as a side note, does anyone know any software for pc that let's you sync music - have 6-7 pcs in the house, so might be handy - have a Synology NAS also, so probably have something in that which might do the job...).
ANYWAY! So here's how I reckon it might work if I understand you all: Lounge: SB Receiver connected into my HTPC line in. Bedroom: SB Radio/Alarm thingy Kitchen: SB Classic (this seems a bit 'flatter' than the others, so will take up less worktop space) Hall: SB Receiver into iPhone/iPod dock with speakers Study: SB Receiver into surround sound system Does the above make sense - will it work? One thing I'd appreciate any advice is the bathroom - anyone know of a waterproof/steam resistant solution for this?! Oh and just to clarify, the music room is a 'real' music room - ie with piano, four guitars, drums, clarinet etc!
