Since the Squeezebox implementation only supports the Last.fm Radio service (which is unaffected by the new changes) and has never supported the on-demand streaming service - I'd be surprised if anything changes in the short term for Squeezebox users.
There are some interesting comments in the Last.fm blog basically saying that the new vision is for Last.fm to act like a portal and to connect users to any of the relevant streaming options in their country for every track - that may suggest the Radio service will be discontinued in the future (or at least it's no longer at the core of what Last.fm wants to do). -- Siduhe Who am I on 'LAST.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/siduhe)?
