Ok, here is a first version that should work both on MacOS X and Linux (no Windows support yet). For MacOS X it assumes the MPlayer OSX Extended.app to be in /Applications/MPlayer/. Tested on a Intel MacMini with MacOS X 10.6.3 & SBS 7.6 installed. :)
