we can only vote to express our desire. checked CustomBrowse, now I'm home, and it works fine for years (and decades) which confirms (for me at least) that my tags are correct. This also confirms that "track year" is held in the database, distinct from "album year" (which I use more often as part of sort albums by artist then year).
