Hi there. That 'download from amazon' feature checks amazon for covers of the selected album. The user-interface for that feature isn't very sophisticated. When you tap the 'amazon' icon - watch the status bar (at the top) closely. It will say 'no covers found' or 'xxx covers found'.
If no covers were found the icon simply disappears. If more than one cover was found the 1st cover will be displayed. The icon will stay visible and you can press it again for the next cover. It all depends on the quality of your mp3-tags. If they are proper there's a good chance to find a matching cover. Make sure album artist and album name are properly tagged. And try a common album first.
