Hi there, I've recently migrated from Windows Homeserver (Windows Server 2003 based, 32-bit OS) to Windows Server Aurora ( basically Vail, aka Homeserver 2, but with Active Directory, Windows Server 2008 R2 based, 64-bit OS). Since there's no add-in as yet for Vail, I've installed SBS "standard". First I tried 7.5 but for some reason it didn't want to scan my music folder, so I switched to 7.6 (info below), dutifully upgrading each time it tells me there's a new version available. I also have Trackstat and Spicefly Sugarcube enabled.
Version: 7.6.0 - r31499 @ Mon Nov 8 02:08:56 PST 2010 Hostname: BK-AURORA Server IP Address: 192.168.1.2 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Windows 2008 Server R2 - EN - cp1252 Platform Architecture: 586 Perl Version: 5.10.0 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.30_06 (sqlite 3.7.2) Now for my question: since the migration I experience random stops of the players. When it happens I see that the SBS process on the server is taking around 50% of CPU. Only solution I've found so far is either ignore the situation and wait a while (quite long sometimes) or restart the service. Does anybody have a clue what could be the cause of this behaviour? thnx, Bart -- bakker_be http://www.last.fm/user/Bakker_be ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bakker_be's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30369 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83228 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
