I installed the latest squeezeslave on my WinXP PC and I'm experiencing strange problems with it. Every time I start a new track or change a track, the music is interupted with harsh loud hiss/white noise for a few seconds of the play. Then it works OK. I've tried to eliminate various possible reasons but it was the same when I tried: 1. to use both squeezeslave and squeezeslave-asio with asio4all 2. different latencies with -y switch 3. -H switch
I also can use Foobar with/without asio and all is OK. My SB runs on Synology 119j and is version 7.5.1-r30836 The connection is wireless 802.11n 5GHz and quite fast.
