Thanks very kindly...got your instructions on both forum.  Looks like
I'm going to have to bite the bullet and do the 1.6
upgrade...gulp.......I will plan to follow Andrew's instructions to the
letter and, if successful, will then do the 7.5.2 instruction from you.
