Anybody desperate for Spotify with SBS on a NAS should at least *-try-*
DSBridge. The main downside is you have to run Spotify on a laptop or PC
and control it from that PC.

However, in my opinion, the interface is much better on a computer and
what is more it will work with the free version whereas Triode's
(excellent) PC plugin and the Sonos implementation only work with the
Premium service.

The main downsides are;
1. the need to wait for a PC or laptop to boot-up before you can use
it.
2. no artwork on the Controller, Touch or Radio

Give it a go, and if you think you can live with those limitations then
it may be all you need. I run "Spotify Free" wirelessly on a Dell
Netbook and an old Pentium 4 desktop, both with WinXP and it runs great
on both.

The main link to DSBridge is _'here'

summarised the installation procedure _'here'

This is fine for occasional use (such as mine), but may not be the best
solution if all your listening is going to be via Spotify. In that case
you would be better off investing in a dedicated, Intel/Windows based,
server and running Triode's plugin.
