But on another note: I believe this is the only way to do _unified_ Apps
which is the holy grail for corporate-IT educated development
departments these days.
I'm seeing much more of this coming right now.

Apple and Google have been very successful to drive their programming
models so far apart that you have almost no other chance to do viable
unified Apps otherwise.

The downside is that it will drive a lot of people out of the market
and replace them with solutions that specialize on one platform (or
that invest heavily) because you will just not get the performance
right with webapps.

But that's again just MHO.
