And, just to add, you need to configure it on a per-player basis whether it scrobbles and to which Last.FM account.
You can have two players scrobbling to two different Last.FM accounts, or one that doesn't scrobble at all, for instance. I've never had a problem with scrobbling everything I play, even after they changed to a subscription service. Of course, not all internet radio stations properly tag their streams so it can be hit and miss in this regard but that's not Squeezebox Server's fault.
