The thread posted is for setting up a receiver without the controller (assuming you had a Duet, which isn't the case). As that poster also mentioned, if your new network "looks" like the old network, it should just work. Did you change your network settings of network name? The server name or settings? There are alternate remote settings which are supposed to work - I think JVC DVD? Someone else may be able to help more there. Worst case, you could order a Touch remote (but it will take a few days to get).
