Perhaps I am confused? What has Win7? The SheevaPlug or another PC, a DeskTop?
Anyways... If the sheevaplug has UBUNTU or soem other flavour of LINUX, then you will need SAMBA so that the music folder can be shared over the LAN. You can then 'map the folder' as a Drive on the windows machine. Once that is done, use whatever Sync software is you pleasure. I use SyncToy to back up to an occasionally attached USB drive on the XP Pro PC from my music folder on a UBUNTU 11.04 shuttle PC. Cheers!
