I would qualify myself as a "audiophile" user, but I don't think the issue is the "who needs it" attitude, but the "There aren't any streaming services available" attitude. In the Netherlands you can choose between Spotify, Spotify and Spotify. Oh, you can get Spotify, too. I just cancelled my Spotify subscription, I couldn't justify the costs of the premium subscription needed for Spotify on the Squeezebox, while I buy several CDs (and/or downloads) a month. That's severel times the costs of a Spotify premium subscription.
