http://www.smackfu.com/stuff/programming/shoutcast.html (which seems to be the staring point for most other descriptions) and http://www.mikejablonski.org/2009/04/17/reading-shoutcast-metadata-from-a-stream/ also useful is: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/audio-video/SHOUTcastRipper.aspx What maybe isn't so clear is that the Artist & Title information are conventionally concatonated in a single StreamTitle='' string, separated by a hyphen. The album artwork is derived from the StreamUrl='' string.
