The versions look right. The should come with LMS and they are in the SqueezeCenter directory. IIRC The LMS version need patches and so "standard" version will not work. They may have been rebuilt for the NAS by Synology. So both should have a recent "Build date" in the banner and also a "Patched for " The "end of file or error on socket" message now means AAC stream data is either not reaching the faad for decoding or the transcoded AAC is not being received by LMS from flac.
